• Career Workshops: Sessions on resume development, completing job applications, improving interview skills, how to look for work on the internet, dressing for success, and more
• Job leads and referrals to community and employment support services
• Information on community events relating to employment
• Referrals to community and employment support service
• Job retention follow up services

The program will assist you with employment readiness, employment placement opportunities, and employment retention strategies.

You would be able to:

1. Identify your career interests and strengths
2. Identify your skills you have to offer an employer
3. Develop a job search plan-goal setting
4. Learn how to dress for success - make a good first impression on the employer
5. Complete job applications that gets you notice
6. Develop an effective resume, cover letters, and thank you notes that will attract potential employers
7. Answer interview questions with confidence and ease
8. Search for jobs using the internet - tap into the hidden job market for more job leads
9. Obtain employment - full time, part time, temporary, and permanent
10. Retain employment by learning how to adapt to the work environment to become a more valuable employee
