Summer Programs
The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) Foundation, through an array of community partnerships, offers educational, cultural, and recreational activities for low-income resident youth. The guiding vision of the OHA Foundation is to enrich the lives of individuals and families, in order to build stronger families, meaningful futures and better communities. For summer activities, the OHA is seeking qualified firms to provide summer program activities for the OHA resident youth. Each firm shall submit a plan for the summer activities in their proposal. - 4-15-2008 --
Vehicle Purchase Project
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) will be accepting bids to purchase 2008 (or equal to) model vehicles. Vehicles will include, but not be limited to, pick-ups trucks, trucks, vans, utility vans, automobile and any other vehicle pursuant to the OHA requirements. The contract award will be based from the current specifications in the bid packet. The projected contract term is one year. - 4-14-2008 --
Commercial HVAC
Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) hereby requests Sealed Bids from qualified Commercial HVAC Contractor to provide routine maintenance and repair / replacement service to OHA Heating and Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems. The locations will include, but not be limited to, eleven towers, four office buildings, the Securities Building, the Farnam Building and other locations operated and owned by the OHA. - 3-26-2008 --
Drug Screening Services
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) is accepting proposals from interested contractors to provide Drug Screening Services for its full time and temporary employees. The qualified vendor shall have the ability to perform drug screening, breath and alcohol testing, and random drug screening. Other testing and screening maybe required upon request. - 3-25-2008 --
Lawn Equipment
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) is accepting bids to purchase lawn equipment. The equipment will include but not be limited to: walk behind lawn mowers, riding mowers, weed eaters, head clippers, and other lawn equipment. Equipment will be used for both residential sites and commercial sites, owned and operated by the OHA.

Professional Unit and Carpet Cleaning Services
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) will be accepting proposals for professional cleaning services and professional carpet cleaning services. The services will take place prior to moving in a new tenant or when applicable. Property locations will include, but not be limited to, Southside, Pleasantview and Spencer Developments and approximate 850 scattered-site locations comprising of single family dwellings, town homes, apartments and duplexes, owned and operated by the OHA. Blanket Purchase Agreement
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) will be accepting bids from suppliers for repetitive needs for supplies and services. The contract will be a small purchases contract known as a Blanket Purchase Agreement. This Agreement will cover a wide range of items in a broad class of goods that are generally purchased but the exact items, quantities and delivery requirements are not known in advance and may vary considerably. The projected contract term is one year or the depletion of the funds, whichever comes first. The OHA will award multiple agreements/contracts for this project. - 1-8-2008 --

Carpet Project
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (hereinafter OHA) is requesting bids for carpet replacement. The OHA owns and operates approximately 11 high-rise dwellings, 3 family developments, about 5 apartment buildings, about 3 commercial buildings, and approximately 635 scattered-site units. The above sites, maybe included but not be limited to the scope of work. The prospective contractor will supply, install, remove and meet all other requirements for carpet replacement. Fire Damage Repairs
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha is requesting bids for fire damaged properties that are operated and owned by the OHA. The OHA is projecting to restore the units back to their original form. The property locations are 2866 Spencer St and 3643 Valley St, Omaha NE. - 3-8-2007 --
On the Job Training
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (hereinafter ‘OHA’) is accepting proposals for On the Job Training projects. The Offeror may submit a proposal on the entire project or part of the projects.
On the Job Training Educations - Offeror will provide services that focus on the enhancement of employability skills for residents. Offeror will be responsible for sustaining ongoing relationship with OHA and area employers. - 3-8-2007 --
Fire Alarm Systems Testing and Maintenance Services
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) will be accepting proposals for Fire Alarm Systems Testing and Maintenance Services at various OHA locations. Offerors will provide all necessary labor, supervision, services, equipment, materials, supplies, technical competence and expertise to meet State and Federal regulations, for testing and inspection of the OHA fire alarm systems. The projected contract term is one (1) year, with the option for the OHA to renew one (1) additional year, contingent upon approval from the OHA Board of Commissioners. - 3-6-2007 --
